Georgia Gould visit
Councillor Georgia Gould, the Leader of Camden Council and member for Kentish Town ward has visited the Highgate Newtown Community Centre to meet the Chairman and staff, and to find out more about the valuable work it undertakes in the community supporting people of all ages and abilities.
Andrew Sanalitro, HNCC Director said: “We were delighted to welcome Georgia and lay out our exciting plans for the redevelopment of our Bertram Street site. The engagement and support of Camden Council is key to turning our redevelopment project from dream to reality. Once completed the new facilities will offer even more choice of activities, and will cater for all users particularly supporting the disadvantaged, unemployed, parents and children and the elderly. Our redevelopment plan is designed to underpin the future sustainability of the Centre. Without Camden’s crucial support for our radical vision it would be impossible to realise”.
