A Grandfather clock made by a 7 year old was the star of the show at the recent launch of The Wood That Works project at HNCC
The launch of this key project was a huge success and very well attended. HNCC Patron His Honour Judge Jeremy Connor cut the ribbon and his speech and wise words were an inspiration to all.
Ricky Jefferson’s Wood that Works project has gone from strength to strength: it is already free to ex servicemen and women; it will soon be free to victims of crime; by next year, the intention is to be able to offer free sessions to primary school children. There is more information about sessions on our calendar page.
We would like to the B&Q Friern Barnet for their generous support in kind supplying timber which makes this project possible.
