Wood Rainbows make us smile

Along with all other HNCC group activities our Wood That Works workshop is currently shut due to Coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean that we have closed down. We are currently frantically making wooden Rainbows and puzzles for isolated children to paint and display in their windows. These are hand delivered in a blank pizza box that the children can colour and design.

Each box consists of a wooden rainbow, a tangram; which is a square specifically cut into 7 different shapes. The shapes can be made into 6,500 different objects ranging from animals to vehicles. There is also a set of paints a paintbrush and a poster to paint to display the window. These wood that works boxes are distributed to local isolated children free.

You can help by making a donation, or volunteering to help out in the Wood that Works workshop to make puzzles and Rainbows and just generally help out. Full PPE will be supplied.
